Good morning sorry I don't know your name or your mother's name. I have
also had multiple sclerosis for 12 years. I have not been able to walk
for the last seven years. I started Tysabri last November or nine
months ago as my neurologist told me I would see larger fireworks going
off if this medication/infusion would have been available seven or eight
years ago. But I have not had an exacerbation since I have been on the
infusion. I have also not had an exacerbation since June 2006. Overall
I feel that it is helping Michael for all stability. My voice is
better, people say I look better (including my neurologist) and I have
been doing some things that I have not done in years. All I can suggest
IS REMAIN POSITIVE! That is half of the battle.

smiles Randy

Hi everyone. I'm here because my mother has been battling a severe
form of the disease for 12 years (since I was 17) and none of the
drugs have worked for her (she's been on Betaseron, Avonex, Copaxone
and experimental chemo). Prednisone is the only thing that keeps her
stable. Anyway, she's starting Tysabri tomorrow and I'm nervous and
excited!
